I have written somewhere between 150 and 200 poems. My main poetic achievement at this point is Daddy-Daughter Day, a book that tells, in verse, the story of a special day a dad and his daughter spend.
I was very close to having it published some years ago, but ran afoul of a publisher re-organization. At the conference I recently attended I had some good prospects both for publishing it and having it illustrated. Alas, illustration turned out to be too much of a project. I self-published this, as a print book only, at Amazon in 2015.
I have critiqued much poetry in on-line poetry forums. I estimate a thousand critiques, though I haven’t actually counted them. For the last three or four years these critiques have been almost exclusively at the poetry critique forum of Absolute Write. Here’s an example: Second Wind.
